Internship Opportunities 2024
The Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to announce one year paid internship program to graduate and postgraduate students for providing practical hands-on work experience in various functional areas at different Branches.
All AJK nationals having valid CNIC are invited for participation in BAJK Internship Program as per the eligibility criteria and procedure detailed below.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible candidates must have completed minimum (4) years Bachelor's degree Program in the disciplines of Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Computer Sciences & IT.
- Must have minimum 60% marks where percentage system applies or minimum 2.4 out of 4.00 or 3.00 out of 5.00 CGPA, where GPA system is applicable.
- Candidates must meet these requirements at the time of applying for the program. Students awaiting results to meet the eligibility criteria are ineligible.
- The maximum age limit is 35 years as on September 15, 2024.

- Applications devoid of requisite information will not be shortlisted.
- Applications submitted in person/ via surface mail or through email will not be entertained.

Application Deadline
- Last date to submit online application is September 15, 2024.
Selection
- There is a mandatory test qualifying conditions along-with an introductory letter issued by the University last attended and a bond of secrecy to be executed by the successful candidate on selection by the Bank.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for appearing in test / Interview.
- Any attempt to influence the shortlisting process, acceptance of internships or placement will result in automatic disqualification of the candidate forthwith.
- Misinformation detected at any stage will lead to immediate cancellation of internship and disqualification for any future job in BAJK.
- Selection will be made by BAJK and selected candidates will receive a confirmation email. Formal letter mentioning date of joining to start the internship will be issued thereafter.
- Internship will only be held at BAJK Branches only.It may be noted that selected interns shall be placed at any branch of the region of their respective domicile.
- No TADA will be admissible nor Internee will be entitled to any accommodation during the internship.
- It may be noted that this Internship will not evolve any right for induction in the Bank. However, successful completion of this one year paid internship will provide the opportunity of appointment on contract in the bank subject to availability of clear vacancies and suitability as per recruitment policy of the Bank. Extra ordinary performers will be encouraged to apply and their hiring shall be made strictly as per policy of the Bank.
- During the Internship, Internee will be paid Rs. 30,000/- per month as stipend. Interns will also be issued Internship Certificates on successful completion of internship program.
- All rules of the Bank pertaining to code of conduct and discipline shall be applicable to interns.
- One Year Paid Internship program will be subject to Mid-Year review and only successful interns will be allowed to continue for remaining period. Interns not considered for remaining period will be separated along with certificate for completion of 6-Month Internship Program.
